Dr. Kristin Lindquist, Psy.D.

Many people seek therapy when anxiety, depression, or life transitions begin to feel overwhelming. You may want to speak more confidently, feel more connected in your relationships, or better understand the patterns shaping your life.

I believe that developing the language to voice your opinions and beliefs without anxiety or apprehension can lead to the life you envision for yourself and toward the future you desire. As we work together, you will experience a greater capacity to fully engage and experience you life by successfully navigating challenging and developing deeper meaning and purpose through a clear connection to your values and strengths.
I provide anxiety therapy and depression therapy in Carnegie, PA, serving clients throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. My approach is warm, calm, and relational. I believe meaningful change happens when you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts, emotions, and values without fear of judgment.
I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety disorders, depression, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. I also specialize in perinatal and postpartum mental health, supporting women and families during pregnancy and early parenthood.
In addition to my work at Lindquist Psychological, I hold a clinical position in perinatal mental health at West Penn Hospital. My background allows me to integrate evidence-based treatment with a psychodynamic and relational perspective.
Dr. Lindquist earned her B.F.A. from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) and Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy from Adler University in Chicago. She is licensed in Pennsylvania and New York and authorized to practice in PsyPact states.

Dr. Thomas Lindquist, Psy.D.
You may be someone who functions well on the outside — successful, responsible, capable — yet internally feel anxious, disconnected, or stuck in patterns you can’t quite explain.
My work is depth-oriented and insight-driven. Rather than only addressing symptoms, we explore the underlying emotional patterns, relational dynamics, and early experiences that continue to shape your present life. When those patterns become conscious, real change becomes possible.
I work especially well with high-functioning professionals and men who may not have had much space to examine their inner lives. Many of my clients are thoughtful, intelligent, and accustomed to solving problems — but find that anxiety, relationship strain, or a persistent sense of dissatisfaction doesn’t respond to willpower alone.
Therapy with me is collaborative, steady, and reflective. We move at a pace that allows depth without feeling overwhelming. Over time, the goal is not just symptom relief, but greater clarity, self-understanding, and a stronger internal foundation.
Dr. Lindquist earned his B.A. in Studio Art & B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University in Chicago and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D.) and M.A. in Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy from Adler University in Chicago. Dr. Lindquist is licensed to practice psychology in PA, NY, and NC as well as all PsyPACT states.
